    • Performs all renovations to communities including but not limited to drywall, painting, minor plumbing, light electrical, appliance, vinyl/carpet repair, minor cabinetry and carpentry.
    • Responds in a timely manner to complete assigned projects.
    • Assures compliance with all OSHA, EPA, Federal, State or local codes and guidelines.
    • Responsible for care and timely maintenance of all equipment entrusted to his/her care.
    • Performs other duties specified by management.
    • Complies with Griffis Residential safety and risk-management policies. Attends and participates in routine safety meetings, completes required OSHA training and other safety related laws and requirements. Promptly and accurately reports accidents and incidents.
    • Fixes and replaces parts (versus replacing them) to support cost-cutting and expense control programs. Prevents waste of materials and supplies, and practices the correct tools and equipment use.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Accepts responsibilities assigned by management and accomplishes related tasks in a timely manner.
    • Performs the work necessary to renovate and remodel the communities within a specified geographic region.
    • Performs technical and mechanical work to refurbish and rebuild internal and external community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. Meets Griffis Residential standards for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pool maintenance, painting, drywall and carpentry is required. Hand tools to perform the general duties listed above are required.
    • Basic computer skills are required as well as, knowledge of budget, bid processes, and vendor pricing necessary to maintain financial performance.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak and read in English.



    • The equivalent to a high school degree or higher.
    • A minimum of one (1) to three (3) year experience in construction or remodeling.
    • Must be a team player, willing to take instruction and be adaptable throughout the day to work on several tasks.
    • Ability to travel to various properties within each market.
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must have a valid driver's license
