    Griffis Residential Service Team Associates are hard working team players who genuinely care about delivering "It’s about you" customer service quality to our customers, residents, and guests. Qualified candidates will participate in daily community inspections and communicate findings to the Community and Service Manager.



    • Maintains community grounds, common areas, landscaping and surrounding areas in clean condition and good repair.
    • Fulfills exterior community maintenance tasks necessary to keep the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal of the community in clean condition.
    • Maintains the community, grounds, landscaping, and common areas in a manner that will make a positive first impression on customers and residents.
    • Reads, understands, and complies with product instructions, labels and safety information, policy and procedure manuals.
    • Good customer service and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact courteously with customers, residents, associates, and other business contacts.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak and read in English.
    • Inspects the entire community to the property lines, the main and secondary entrances, and the tour path to the model homes, amenities, pool, spa, and clubhouse and office areas to ensure they are neat, clean, and free of trash/debris.
    • Immediately picks up litter including pet waste and cigarette butts, from any exterior and common areas.
    •  Performs light landscaping duties such as sprinkler adjustment, repair, trimming or trees and shrubs, replacement of sod, fertilizer and watering of plants as needed.
    • Maintains all dumpster areas to ensure that trash is properly disposed of and that the surrounding areas are neat and clean. Routinely inspects these areas for rodents, ants, flies, and other pests and takes action to exterminate them.
    • Maintains cleanliness of all landings, breezeways, and common areas; reports improper storage of bicycles, motorcycles, etc. in these areas.
    • Cleans parking lot areas including curbs; removes oil spots, trash, leaves, dirt, etc. May be called upon to tag vehicles that are inoperable, bearing expired plates, flat tires, on blocks, and / or not parked in assigned / designated spaces.
    • Removes snow and ice from all assigned areas and apply ice melt when necessary.



    • Common grounds and facility cleaning and maintenance
    • Daily sprinkler system evaluation and input
    • Dumpster and dumpster area cleaning and maintenance
    • Flower bed weeding, preventive pool maintenance, and ice/snow removal from common areas including sidewalks, stairwells, breezeways, and parking areas.
    • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license – if not at time of employment, required within the first six (6) months of employment at Griffis Residential.
    • May assist the Service Manager and Technicians with minor maintenance and repair requirements.
    • At least one (1) year of multifamily community maintenance or hospitality maintenance, experience preferred.
